All Feet are Not Created Equal
Categories: Karyn
This has come up a several times in the past, and again last night. For some reason, when an individual discovers that you’re into feet, many of them assume that means ALL FEET. This assumption usually comes from people that don’t share my passion for feet. Just like other folks with hobbies and interests, I have a certain ‘type’ of foot that I prefer. I think I wrote about my type in a previous post. A lot of my fellow fetishists have certain traits they look for in feet as well. There are SO many different kinds of feet out there, but that doesn’t mean I want them all, OMG a LOT of them are awful! lol
I don’t even want to get into the whole business of cracked heels, warts, fungus on the nails, etc.. I do understand that not everyone is born with beautiful feet. That’s fine, I know mine aren’t perfect either. I just think it’s important to at least try to work with what you’ve got, you know?
Everyday while out working or running errands, I come across lots of horribly unhappy, unkempt, dirty, scary looking feet. Let me be clear that these are NOT the feet I’m trying to look at and enjoy
I realize that to many people out there, feet are just a vehicle to get them where they need to go. They don’t give them a thought. I can’t say that I understand that way of thinking, but I realize it exists. What I do know is that for every 10 pairs of nasty feet I come across, there is that ONE pair of GORGEOUS feet that will make up for it. And that my friends, is what us foot fetishists LOVE. It’s an exhilarating feeling when you find them, it puts a flutter in your chest, and perks me right up!
I guess I would compare it to someone who loves breasts, or legs. When the right pair walks by, you instantly feel it, you’re compelled to look. It brightens up your day! For me, catching a glimpse of sexy toe cleavage on the metro, or a cute girl with a french pedi in flip flops is pure heaven. I do have to admit though, when I see a pair of badly neglected feet, I can’t help but to imagine what they COULD look like with a little help. I actually think about what I would do for them, lol. Sometimes I see a girl with cracked heels and I’m just dying to put some lotion on them!!
I had a friend a few years back that was a gymnastics teacher. She was absolutely adorable~ petite, cute bobbed hair, great shape. But her feet were a TRAIN WRECK. One day, after work, I told her to come over to my apartment. When she arrived, I had all of my pedicure tools out. I said we were going to have a ‘girls night’ and that I was giving her a pedicure~ whether she liked it or not! Well, I can tell you that by the time I finished, she was loving it! I soaked her feet, trimmed her cuticles, buffed her nails, painted them, and even gave her a little massage. I remember while I was doing all of this, she asked me why. I just told her that it was driving me crazy looking at her feet everyday without polish, all calloused and rough because her feet had so much potential! We laughed about it, and when we were finished, she absolutely loved her new feet.
So that’s really all I wanted to say. YES I do adore feet, but not all of them!

Another fantastic blog Karyn
I love everything that has to do with feet but not all of them too
Thank you for saying this and for saying it so well. Another thing that surprises me is some of the feet that end up on professional foot porn sites. You can sometimes tell the ones that are just run for money vs ones run by true foot fans just by this, the ones that make you go “Really? You posted that?” Although I guess some of them are trying to offer something for that minority (you know there is one) that likes or prefers feet that are not kept up well (I guess they view them as being more “real world” and “natural”, kind of like why I sometimes like dirty feet, it shows the person actually goes barefoot and isn’t just removing their shoes or slippers for the camera).
Karyn! I’ve missed you so so much. I’m glad to see that all’s well. And, I totally agree with you on this.
Karyn, you’re so “right on” in this blog. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to the local supermarkets here in Knoxville, and have seen ladies walking about in flip flops or even high heeled sandals with horrible looking feet. Thankfully, I’ve seen less of that this year than in previous years (maybe somebody hipped many of them to the fact of “getting their feet in order for the summer if you’re gonna wear sandals or flip flops to the supermarket”).
